The Co Report will host an epic beauty event at the historic Buffalo Soldiers Museum on Sunday from 3 pm – 5 pm in Houston, TX. This event will feature Black-owned brands in cosmetics, natural hair care, skin care, and various other beauty goods and services. The Noir Beauty Affair will attract over 50,000 women in the Houston area.
All proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. We are asking attendees to bring new to gently used hair care products to the event.
Noir Beauty & Natural Hair Affair, will be an opportunity for women of color in the city of Houston to come together in a positive environment to network with one another, learn a variety of beauty techniques, and to be introduced to an array of national Black-owned brands, such as Lust V Cosmetics, Donna Marie, Jane Carter Solution, Hydratherma Naturals, Uncle Funky’s Daughter, and many more.
Attendees will learn proper makeup application techniques from professional makeup artist, Jessica Harmon, discover new ways to maintain, style, and care for their natural hair from the talented Gabrielle Henderson of Hues by Gabrielle. There will also be complimentary manicures given by emerging nail lacquer brand, Lust V Cosmetics.
Attendees will be treated to delicious light bites, refreshing beverages, goodie bags filled with products from Black-owned brands, and raffles for fabulous prizes that will be held throughout the evening.
