I once had a friend to tell me that she thought she couldn’t pull off a purple lip color because of her fair skin. I was extremely glad she brought this to my attention because I wanted to show people like her that in fact she could pull off a beautiful well painted purple lip.
I’m a firm believer that anyone can pull of any lip color. It’s all in finding the perfect shade that will compliment your skin’s complexion. In the previous video we showed you how to wear a purple lip using Too Faced Violet from their Melted collection. The model had a deep chestnut hue with warm undertones similar to Naomi Campbell.
If you are of a lighter complexion and feel as though the Too Faced color was to much of a striking contrast then this is a great video to watch. The shade that we used was a red-violet color from Bite Beauty also in Violet. It looked great on Jaclyn, the model, and proves that no matter your skin complexion you can pull off any lip color.
