Pink Plastic is a womenswear brand that should definitely be saved as a bookmark on everyone’s toolbar. The fun and refreshing pieces that range from dresses to swimsuits exude femininity and sex appeal that all women can appreciate and genuinely love. Originator, Princess Aurum, describes the brand as “a modernized fusion of styles from popular moguls Twiggy and Dior, to movies like Clueless and Life-Size.” Using these moguls and culture shifting movies as references obviously means Pink Plastic does not shy away from the girly frocks and frills such as fur bralettes and feather trimmed robes. These features would usually be perceived as gimmicky, but designer Ann Wynn curates curve accentuating garments that translate very well on the adult, female body.
Seeing a brand truly embody their mission statement is always comforting and makes the business trustworthy and very credible. Pink Plastic “aspires to encourage ALL women of different shapes, ethnicities, and sizes to find their inner princess. We want every woman to channel her inner doll by experimenting with different trends and designs Pink Plastic will be releasing periodically. Our goal is to empower women, motivate them to follow their dreams, and keep them cute!”
The ladies did exactly this with their swoon worthy photo shoot this past weekend in Washington, DC. The shoot entitled Pink Lemonade featured the popular and very princess-esque Aurora and Princess Cinderella dresses, along with some amazing new pieces and beautiful women that represented all cultures, shapes, and sizes. It is no word on when the rest of the pictures from the shoot will be released, but it will definitely be worth the wait! In the meantime, treat yourself to must-have Princess Wear.
