What to do
Although Isla Mucurra is separate from the city, it’s only a short boat ride away. Most tourists are unaware of the island, but it’s a must see destination for those seeking white sand beaches and an enchanting atmosphere. Murallas de Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, a fort which stands 20 meters thick, was built to withstand and fight off ongoing aggressive pirate attacks.
