Last night I had the privilege of viewing Lulu Frost’s Neon Baroque SS14 collection. Her showroom was reconstructed to resemble an 18th century paradise. The room was filled with beautiful flower arrangements, peacocks and jewelry placed in rustic birdcages. The talented DJ Chelsea was spinning beats and rocking a beautiful necklace from Lulu Frost of course. The models paraded the pieces from her collection while rocking powdered pastel beehive-like updo’s to resemble a modern day Marie Antoinette. Lisa Salzer was inspired by the 2006 Sofia Coopola movie and wanted to put her own punk twist to her jewels by mixing the love affair that she has for the movie with neon and geometric shapes.
