Comfort Vs. Style

A common battle in fashion is comfort versus style. Why can’t we have both when it can be achieved? When people hear “comfort” in fashion, we often think of sweat pants. Nope, no sweat pants, however jogger sweat pants are trendy. In a large commuter city such as New York, taking public transportation and walking is a norm for urban citizens. However, it is very rare to see a woman on a train wearing stilettos – if she is, she is a goddess. How can one dress stylish and trendy while being comfortable in their garments? Easy, think minimal, basics and light fabrics.

Selecting pieces that are both comfortable and stylish can be a challenge, but not entirely. Comfort is such an subjective word, however it is safe to say, flats are safer than heels on any given day of the week especially for the commuters. Cole Haan’s products have a wide-variety of style for flat surfaced shoes.
